Religious Against Human Trafficking (RAHT KENYA -Talitha Kum) hosted & organized the recently concluded Talitha Kum Africa HUBS, participated by 15 countries across Africa. Canossian Sisters is one of the 9 founding Congregations of RAHT-KENYA Talitha Kum to witness the legacy of our universal Sister St Josephine Bakhita, patron Saint of all anti-Human Trafficking activities and as a response to this new form of poverty. The Canossian charism of PREVENTION will greatly reduce incidence of human trafficking as vulnerable women & children living on the fringes of society are sensitized and made aware of the perils of modern-day slavery called Human Trafficking. Let us be prophets and be KEEPERS of our vulnerable sisters and brothers who are in our midst.
