In this month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we are invited to remain more deeply before the mystery of his love, allowing ourselves to be reached by his mercy and transformed by his tenderness.
For us Canossians, the Heart of Christ is the home in which to live and the school in which to learn.
In his Heart we discover the Lord’s gentleness, goodness, and meekness. It is there that we learn to regard every person with respect and compassion, to live authentic relationships, and to recognise God’s presence in daily life.
Contemplating the Heart of Jesus, we allow ourselves to be transformed by his love, so that his feelings may become our own. In this way, our words, our choices, and our works can become a concrete sign of welcome, service, and charity towards all, especially towards the poorest and most vulnerable.
In this time of grace, we ask the Lord for the gift of a heart ever more like his own: able to love without measure, to forgive generously, and to serve with humility.
The Heart of Christ invites us each day to live the Gospel with simplicity and joy, making God’s tenderness and mercy visible in the world.
