(Tagaytay City) – From 30 May to 1 June 2026, at the Canossa House of Spirituality in Tagaytay City, the Sisters of the Sacred Heart Province (Phil-PNG) took part in a meaningful Charismatic Formation focused on strengthening their Canossian identity and deepening their sense of belonging.
In the first part of the gathering, we were invited to reflect on the years of charismatic animation we have lived and on how these experiences have shaped who we are today. The Sisters shared in pairs and in community, entering into spiritual conversations that allowed the Spirit to speak within us. These reflections helped us express what the Spirit was stirring in our hearts. The reflection on Canossian identity also invited us to revisit and rediscover our shared journey and our true identity as consecrated Canossian women.
The series The Chosen offered an additional point of reflection, helping us understand that we are not called because we are qualified, but that it is God who equips those he calls to serve in his vineyard. This insight resonated deeply with the life and example of Saint Magdalene of Canossa, our Foundress, who continues to inspire us through her life of charity and her profound desire that Jesus be known and loved through our mission. Strengthened by this inspiration, each Sister renewed her commitment to embrace and live out this mission with greater love, joy and generosity of heart.
The days were filled with rich and meaningful sharing. Alongside these moments of depth, there were also light-hearted and joyful exchanges. Creative recreational activities brought laughter and warmth, filling the hall with a spirit of joy, sisterly love and vibrant community life.
