A Canossian is born at the foot of the Cross. With the Crucified Jesus as our model, the emptying of Christ — the Kenosis — lies at the heart of our identity and our mission.

It was precisely this journey that led Saint Magdalene to the “Mountain of Lovers,” where she understood what the greatest love truly is: to give one’s life for others.

Her dream — to be like dust, scattered throughout the world to make Jesus known and loved — came true 25 years after her death, inspired by the words: “Euntes in Universum Mundum” (“Go into all the world”).

That same spirit still lives on today. Our consecrated life makes us free and available for mission: we are sent to bear witness to the Greatest Love, wherever we may be and to whomever we are called to meet.

Could this also be your calling?
