(Sacramento, California) — On 19 September 2026, the Canossian Lay Community in the Sacramento area welcomed four women who, after almost two years of formation and accompaniment, made their first promises as Canossian Lay Women.
This event marked a significant milestone for Virginia Muller, Gabriella Bargellini, Margarita López and Suzanne Haendel, as well as for the entire Province of Christ the King.
During the celebration, the community offered a prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of life, which continues to flourish in the Church and in the Canossian Family. Grace was also invoked for the four new Canossian Lay Women, that they may live ever more deeply the charism of Saint Magdalene of Canossa.
The community also asked to renew its own Eccomi, praying for hearts attentive to the Spirit, hands ready to serve and the freedom to follow wherever God’s love may lead.
