(Singapore) — On Sunday, 13 September 2026, the Canossian Family in Singapore gathered at Canossa Primary School to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, the renewal of the Sisters’ vows and the renewal of the promises made by the nine groups of Canossian Laity present in the Province.
During the celebration, the anniversaries were also joyfully commemorated: Sister Maria Sim celebrated 50 years of life devoted to the Lord, while Sister Edith Gnansa Papissi celebrated 25 years of consecrated life.
The celebration was enriched by the presence of Sister Melissa Dwyer, General Councillor, together with the Sisters and members of the Canossian Family present in Singapore. The joyful celebration also marked the conclusion of the first week of the seminar organised by CCTAO, attended by 35 Sisters, entitled: ‘Embracing the grace of our sunset – living well, leaving well’.
United by one charism and one mission, the participants renewed their commitment to making Jesus known and loved, according to the spirit and charism of St Magdalene.
