(Vaitakwadi, Anandwadi) – On 5 June 2026, St. Anthony School celebrated World Environment Day with enthusiasm and a deep commitment to protecting nature.
The children brought a variety of plants and saplings to be planted in the school campus and its surroundings, expressing their love and care for Mother Earth. A meaningful school assembly was conducted, during which the students presented a thought-provoking skit highlighting the importance of trees. Through their performance, they beautifully conveyed that without trees, life on Earth is in danger, while also reminding everyone of the countless benefits trees provide.
A special Handprint Activity was also organized, where every child’s handprint became a symbol of their personal promise to protect and nurture our planet. The activity carried a powerful message that each one of us has a responsibility to care for Mother Earth and work together to create a greener, healthier future.
The celebration inspired the students to become responsible guardians of the environment, reminding us all that every small action can make a big difference.
