(Imperatriz, Brazil) – The first pair of the summer with the International Volunteer Programme of the Canossian Daughters of Charity (VOICA) has set off: Giorgia Boz and Davide Darold, both from the province of Belluno, who will take part in an immersion experience in the activities of the Canossian Sisters in Imperatriz, with enthusiasm and hearts full of expectation. A few hours before departure, however, the flight was unexpectedly changed.
The airline announced several schedule changes, with successive updates that made the journey more complicated than expected. As a result, the route between São Paulo and Imperatriz was extended by two additional stopovers.
Despite the setback, the journey continued with flexibility and trust. As often happens in VOICA experiences, this departure is already becoming a story worth telling.
In Imperatriz, Giorgia and Davide will join the Sisters’ daily activities on the ground, living an immersion experience in the local reality, without a specific pre-defined project.
