The long-awaited Canonical Visit to Japan has started in Omuta Community. Today (17th. January) Sr. Melissa greeted and encouraged our teachers and students of Meiko Gakuen. After touring the school, the sisters met for the first Animation Session with Sr. Melissa. It was a special moment which gave us joy and hope and a renewed sense of belonging to our Institute through the “great Gift of Vocation” which God has given us.
Today (18th of January) our second day of the Canonical Visit in Omuta community, we had an individual interview with Sr. Melissa in the morning and in the afternoon at three o’ clock we had the second Animation Session with her. She led a little prayer at the beginning, then gave us feedback on our community and we had the closing prayer of the Canonical Visit in the chapel. It was a very beautiful moment of prayer with Sr. Melissa thanking the Lord for all the blessings we received through her. We hope with this Canonical Visit we continue to be united in prayer to carry on our mission in Japan with the blessing of our Foundress.
