(Tiwi Islands) – From 2nd to 5th July, the community of the Tiwi Islands was blessed with the presence of Sr Albertina Dos Santos, member of the General Council, for the canonical visit. It was a precious moment of personal and communal encounter, as well as a time of renewal for each of the Sisters.
Through visits to the Sisters’ ministries and numerous moments of shared daily life, Sr Monique, Sr Val and Sr Amelia truly experienced God’s presence through this visit. They were encouraged to continue fostering unity of hearts and to be a visible sign of God’s love for their Tiwi brothers and sisters.
The sisterly encounter with Sr Albertina was a time to strengthen the bond of love that unites them as one Canossian family.
