YOUTH MINISTRY
Young PeopleBe More, Give More, Dare More
If you feel drawn to Jesus, the greatest Love who gave his life on the Cross, the Canossian Family wishes to accompany you on a journey of discovery and growth. It is an invitation to experience a culture of being, of giving and of courage, allowing yourself to be challenged by life and the Gospel.
From the time of her youth, Saint Magdalene issued a challenge that remains timely: “It’s about more…” Not “more” based on self-centeredness or self-seeking, but a journey toward a fuller life, capable of loving and serving.
BEING MORE
means growing toward a mature, integrated identity, rooted in Jesus. It is the choice not to stop at superficiality, but to seek the truth that gives meaning to life.
GIVING MORE
arises from the experience of love received. It is learning to give freely, without expecting a reward, placing oneself beside the poorest with a free and available heart.
DARE MORE
means having the courage to be new in the world, as Magdalene was: young people capable of transforming their environment and building, with small daily gestures, a true “house of charity.”
Setting out on a journey means opening oneself to new experiences, stepping out of one’s own little world and allowing oneself to be surprised by what God can do through each person.
