Summary of the initiative

The ‘Centro educativo infantil M. di Canossa’ and the ‘Centro di salute Sagrada Familia’ run by the Canossian Sisters guarantee the health of many children every day by providing: regular medical check-ups for children aged 0 to 5 and their mothers; hygiene and sanitary materials, food support for infants and children; assistance for children with disabilities, support for educational and after-school activities for over 100 children living in extreme poverty in the slums on the outskirts of the city of Encarnación, Paraguay.
