LA PLATA – A gathering of the Superiors of the communities of the Argentina–Paraguay Province took place in La Plata (Buenos Aires), offering a meaningful time of communion, reflection and shared discernment. The meeting brought together those responsible for the various local communities in an atmosphere marked by attentive listening and spiritual renewal.

The encounter provided a privileged opportunity to strengthen the bonds among the communities and to reread together the journey of consecrated life in the light of present-day challenges. The days were shaped by moments of spiritual animation, prayer and fraternal dialogue, creating space for shared discernment and for a deeper reflection on the service of leadership entrusted to the Superiors.

At the heart of the reflection was the Guiding Horizon proposed by CLAR – the Latin American and Caribbean Confederation of Religious – which calls religious communities to live their charism with renewed fidelity, attentive to the signs of the times and to the social and ecclesial realities of the continent. This perspective invites consecrated life to be a prophetic presence, capable of accompanying individuals and communities with an evangelical spirit and with sensitivity to emerging pastoral challenges.

Particular attention was also given to the letter of the Mother General, Mother Sandra Maggiolo, and to that of Mother María José Dahn, Provincial Superior. Their words offered guidance and insight for the common journey and were received as an invitation to renew missionary zeal, strengthening a style of leadership rooted in fraternity, service and shared responsibility.

The meeting in La Plata forms part of a broader path of formation and accompaniment aimed at supporting Superiors in their task of spiritual animation and governance. In a time marked by profound social and cultural change, the sharing of experiences and fraternal dialogue become precious instruments for safeguarding unity and nurturing hope.

Participants described these days as a time of grace, shaped by attentive listening to the Spirit and by the desire to continue walking together, with their gaze fixed on the mission and on the people entrusted to their care.
