December has transformed the Santa Maddalena di Canossa Educational Centre into a place of quiet enchantment: laughter filling the rooms, Christmas carols lingering in the air, heartfelt embraces — and, indeed, a few tears born of deep emotion.

The children of the Red Class (aged 3), the Blue Class (aged 4) and the Green Class (aged 5) experienced truly special days, rich in Christmas activities thoughtfully prepared to bid farewell to the year in the most beautiful way. Through games, celebrations and meals lovingly prepared by parents and teachers alike, each day became a precious gift.

A particularly moving moment was the living Nativity. The youngest children of the Red Class shone like gentle little stars, while those of the Blue Class brought to life tender angels. Together, all the children then gathered in church for a special moment, receiving the symbolic embrace of Jesus, with the hope that His presence might accompany and protect them during the holiday season.

Each child was also presented with a folder filled with memories and activities — a small treasure recounting how much they have grown over the past year.

Parents, visibly moved, watched their children — still so young, yet already a little more grown — with gratitude for the dedicated and invaluable work of the teaching staff.

The most intense emotion, however, was reserved for the children of the Green Class. For them, this December marked a “final” farewell to the Centre. In the closing performances, they gave their very best, taking centre stage in the living Nativity as the Magi, shepherds and villagers. Crowning it all was the diploma ceremony: a solemn, tender and unforgettable moment.

A truly special December — filled with emotion, small milestones and smiles that tell great stories.

The growth of these boys and girls has been made possible through the joint efforts of the Santa Maddalena di Canossa Educational Centre and the Sagrada Familia Health Centre, where the Sisters provide the most vulnerable children of the Barrio Sagrada Familia with education, nourishment and medical care. To support them is to continue nurturing the future.
