On Sunday 26 October, the Canossian Foundation VOICA – ETS will open its doors to all those interested in learning more about the world of volunteering, the Foundation’s projects and activities, and what it means to commit oneself to creating genuine change and solidarity.

The event will take place at the General House of the Canossian Sisters in Verona, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Throughout the day, visitors will have the chance to meet volunteers, staff members and Sisters from the Canossian Foundation VOICA, to listen to their stories of life and service, and to discover how a project of solidarity takes shape and grows over time.
It will be a space to hear from those who have chosen to set out, to get involved, and to share their time and skills in support of meaningful transformation.

International volunteering is one of the key missions of the Canossian Foundation VOICA – ETS.
Through training, preparation and ongoing accompaniment, the Foundation supports volunteers serving in Canossian missions across the world.
Men and women of all ages are invited to put their personal and professional skills at the service of development, education and local community projects, contributing to a more just and compassionate world.

During “Stories from the Mission”, alongside the personal testimonies, participants will learn more about the Foundation’s initiatives, current projects and opportunities for involvement — whether through a period of international service or by supporting the activities from home.

“Stories from the Mission” is an invitation to come closer, to listen and to be inspired.
Every experience of volunteering begins with an encounter — with a place, a community, a need.
From that encounter, the possibility of something new can emerge: practical help, personal growth, a meeting of cultures — and above all, a shared humanity.

“Stories from the Mission” will take place on Saturday 26 October at 11 a.m. at the General House of the Canossian Sisters in Verona. Click HERE to download the flyer
