Hong Kong — On 12 September, the Chapel of the Canossian Missions was filled with joy and gratitude. Canossian Sisters, Canossian Lay People, family members and friends gathered to celebrate something truly special: the religious anniversaries of three beloved Sisters of the Canossian family.
It was a joyful day that brought together three reasons for celebration: 70 years of religious life for Sister Rita Pedretti, another 70 years for Sister Catherine Wu, and 60 years for Sister Dorothy Cheng. During the Mass, the three jubilarians shared their gratitude with those present and, with hearts full of thanksgiving, recalled the many graces Jesus had granted them throughout all these years of dedication to him and to their brothers and sisters.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Father Robert Ng, S.J., who accompanied the community in this special time of prayer and celebration.
It was, without a doubt, an afternoon dedicated to thanking God for the faithfulness of the three jubilarians and to experiencing once again what it means to belong to a great family: the Canossian family, united by faith, love and commitment to the mission.
