(Santa Rosa) – On 18 June 2026, at Canossa School in Santa Rosa, the Philippines, the school community experienced the second part of the Grand Pusolubong 2026 with the first Mini Acquaintance activity for Grades 1 to 3 and the Organisation Fair for Grades 4 to 12, giving students the opportunity to explore their interests and build relationships with one another.
The Mini Acquaintance activity, led by junior high school members of the Canossa School Youth Council (CSYC), brought pupils together according to their interests and hobbies, so that they could get to know one another, make new friends and learn with compassion.
Meanwhile, the Organisation Fair aimed to showcase the advocacies and activities of the various organisations at TCSI, helping students to better understand their purpose and to identify where their interests and talents fit best.
According to Lance Canovas, Chair of the CSYC Assembly Committee, the initiative was conceptualised by the four CSYC chairpersons and organisation leaders, together with the collaborative effort of their members.
“We did this so that each organisation could present what it can offer to every student, so that from the start of the school year it will already be clear where a Canossian may best fit,” he explained, adding that he hoped the organisations would receive greater recognition and attract more members.
Ajel Deregla, a Grade 12 student, described the experience as enjoyable and intense, especially for the student leaders who are handling multiple organisations because of the limited time.
“If you asked me how much I enjoyed the fair from one to ten, I would give it a full ten,” she said, stressing that the overall outcome of the fair was well worth the effort.
