(Jakarta) – On 30th April, CVP volunteers paid a short visit to the Canossian community in Jakarta, where they were warmly welcomed by the Canossian Sisters and the Novitiate.

Though brief, the encounter became a precious memory, filled with smiles, stories, and shared prayer. Simple gestures of welcome, heartfelt conversations, and moments of prayer left a deep impression on the volunteers, reminding them that even a short encounter can give rise to bonds of faith and friendship that transcend distance.

We sincerely thank our Canossian Sisters in Jakarta and the Novitiate for their hospitality, kindness, and the love they shared with our volunteers. Your welcome truly encouraged and strengthened them as they continue their missionary service in Indonesia.

Thank you too for your prayers, which will accompany the volunteers until their return to the Philippines. In turn, we shall continue to pray for you, especially for the gift of vocations.

Inspired by the Canossian charism, the volunteers are living this experience as a service of encounter, sharing, and compassion beyond borders.

With hearts ablaze, CVP on the VOICA Journey in Indonesia, carrying compassion beyond borders.
