Participants explored historical chronicles from the community archives, some dating back to the 1940s, and engaged in hands-on writing exercises guided by Prof. Guga Valente from the Escola in Brazil. The workshop emphasized the value of writing detailed chronicles to preserve the legacy of Canossian life and charitable works for future generations.
Sr. Elisa Cardoso enriched the sessions by sharing her formation experience at the Canossian Archives in Hong Kong. Participants also had the chance to explore the Virtual Archives Tour, featuring collections from both Hong Kong and the Philippines.
On the third day, Provincial Councillors and Junior Sisters joined the session focused on principles of effective written communication. Alongside theoretical learning, participants took part in field activities where, divided into groups, the sisters analyzed and revised their community profiles.
A major outcome of the workshop was the formation of the Media Communication Team—comprising one representative from each community—tasked with ensuring regular updates on the life and activities of their communities for the provincial media.
A heartfelt thank-you to all participants for their active involvement and their genuine commitment to the greater glory of God
